As part of the obligations under Art. 32 sec. 1 point 6 of the IDD Act, below, we provide you with information about the nature of the remuneration we receive as a result of the proposed conclusion of an insurance contract or insurance guarantee contract.
- An insurance contract or insurance guarantee contract is a contract under which an insurance company assumes certain insurance risks in return for an insurance premium. This premium includes, in general, the cost of the risk transferred and the margin of the insurance company. This margin is to cover fixed and variable costs and bring profit to the insurance company. The variable costs include, among others, the costs of risk analysis and collecting and organizing documentation as well as the costs of preparing for the conclusion of an insurance contract. As an insurance broker, we charge remuneration for the above-mentioned activities, releasing the insurance company from the obligation to perform them. Thus, the appearance of our remuneration consists in replacing some variable costs with others (usually lower). Moreover, since our activity also involves explaining the insurance risk, as a result, an insurance company having a better understanding of it, is often ready to accept its cost at a lower level, which further reduces the premium. To sum up, it should be stated that the brokerage activities performed by us consist of the so-called insurance brokerage and our remuneration, called brokerage, belongs to the category: "commission of any kind included in the amount of the insurance premium", within the meaning of Art. 32 section 1 point 6 point b) of the act.
As part of the obligations under Art. 32 sec. 1 point 8 of the IDD Act, hereby, we kindly inform you about:
- the possibility of submitting a reclamation
- the possibility of lodging a complaint
- the possibility of out-of-court dispute resolution
